Spurgeon’s word is accurate of my need for Christ!

I wanted to tell you something but not so in public cause I don’t want you to get the wrong idea about flattery. I was reading Acts this morning and where Paul was “reasoning” with the Athenians about the Unknown God and how they love philosophy and anything new and I thought oh to have the kind of wisdom that Paul had. Lord we need that today and the Holy Spirit made me think of you. You teach about the Salvation available to everyone, yet you also “debate” the philosophers of this day and very well I might add! You have such an important place within the Body of Christ today and I don’t know if you’ve been told that, but I recognize it. My ministry is more of an encouragement to brothers and sisters as well as teaching the truth from falsehood in a more simplistic way, so I couldn’t let this day go by without telling you to keep up the Great work of the Lord. You are filling a need that not everyone can do! I’ve followed you for a while except the year I was actively fighting cancer, but it seems that since the Lord isn’t done with me yet, my clarity has increased even if it’s a little bit. Brother, you are loved and needed. As you can see, don’t want this taken the wrong way as we all need to watch flattery, but I believe this was from the Lord! Love you!

Roland wow thank you for that encouragement; I’m moved and humbled. Brother I’m glad you are still with us and also still able to minister and encourage!
