A Word From The Lord

A Message From The Lord In A Vision

Lord, we call to You for help continually, how long must we continue to cry out to You? Wickedness, evil, violence, corruption, blatantly displayed and demonstrated all around us. When O Lord will You come to save us? Must we, Your people continue on with this sin and misery ever before us and all around us? Dear Lord, where ever our eyes turn we see destruction and violence and we are surrounded by people who love to argue, fight and destroy, not just property but one another. Lord, the law has become paralyzed and utterly useless and in some cases take part in the corruption and wickedness and the courts have abandoned justice for their own agendas and gain. The wicked far outnumber the righteous and justice is perverted and twisted in corruption with bribes and trickery!

Then the Lord spoke these words and replied, “Look at the governments and nations all around and be amazed. Open your eyes and watch and be astounded at what I am capable of and WILL do! For I am doing something right now in your day and time, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone else told you about it.”

O Lord, God of all, You are the Holy One, You are eternal, but is Your plan in all of this to send wrath upon Your children along with those who deal wickedly? Surely it isn’t so! Lord, You ARE our Rock, you have allowed nations to rise and You have allowed them to fall and You are perfectly just in all of this. But dearest Lord, will You, who abhors and hates sin in any form, stand by while this evil tries to swallow up Your children? Should the Lord on High be silent and stand away while the wicked and corrupt destroy those who belong to You in righteousness? Will You, Heavenly Father, let the wicked get away with this forever? Will they continue to succeed forever in their heartless and deceitful endeavors?

Then the Lord again replied, “These things I plan won’t happen instantly, but rather slowly, steadily, purposefully and surely, and when the right time approaches, then the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place in your time and it will NOT be delayed!”

“Look at the proud and arrogant! They trust in their own abilities and their lives are crooked, twisted and corrupt, BUT, the righteous SHALL live by faith. Wealth is deceitful and treacherous and the arrogant can never find rest and they are never, ever satisfied. In their greed they have gathered to themselves not just many peoples, but nations as well. There will come a time however when all they have accrued deceitfully will turn on them and mock them.”

“How terrible it will be for those who have gained through deceit and corruption all the while living wickedly. They believe their wealth is their security and that their wealth even protects their families. Has not the Lord God Almighty not promised that wealth gained by corrupt means will turn to ashes?”

“You have turned materials and things into idols for which you devote your life in worship. You have idolized other men and women and things, things that have no life, things that you have put upon pedestals of your heart. Tell me, can these idols speak for Me, God Almighty? Can they fathom the depths of My wisdom? Did they create the Heavens, the Earth or anything that is alive within them? But remember this, the Lord resides in His holy Temple, a temple NOT made with human hands! Therefore, let all the earth be silent in awe before Him!”

This was based on the Prophet Habakkuk’s vision that the Lord gave Him in a dream. You can find it in the Book of Habakkuk in the Old Testament. Like all the prophets given a Word from the Lord, they were written down not just for historical purposes but for the realization that God’s Character AND His Word does not change. They are as applicable to each and every generation that has come and gone since these words were uttered and written down.

It does not take ANY stretch of the imagination to see these words unfold in front of our very eyes! Like some crime television documentaries like to say, “only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.” In this case, only the names and places have been changed due to the change of historical figures and NOT due to the change of God’s Word or principles!

We are living in a time in history when God’s TRUE children NEED to get back into the Bible and seek out God’s Words concerning how He deals with sin and situations. For too long, happiness and prosperity have been taught with absolutely no teaching on the consequences of sin or God’s attitude toward it. Yet, we have the Salvation AND the ability to approach our Heavenly Father boldly before His Throne BECAUSE of how He pardoned and dismissed our sins. The subject of sin HAS to be taught along with all the other joyful things found in the Bible or those joyful things have little to no significance without recognizing the cost paid for us to enjoy them!

The TRUE Church of Christ Jesus MUST get back to seeking and maintaining an intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father if His Church is to be His voice with Holy Spirit anointing, power and authority. Without that intimacy we are nothing more than what the Apostle Paul warned his protégé Timothy about in these last days, “having a form of godliness but denying its power.” (Read 2 Timothy 3:1-5).

It is time for the TRUE Church to awaken out of its slumber, to shake off its sleepiness and to prepare itself for the work that God is getting ready to have willing vessels do! We ARE the Church! You ARE the Church, not the building you attend! It is time to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading and start BEING the Church in the eyes of the world.

To God Almighty, our Heavenly Father be ALL the Glory and Majesty through Jesus Christ, our Lord!
