Blessings Through Light

*Pastor’s Note: This is from a favorite writer of mine who also does awesome poetry. As so many of you know, I love poetry and I’ve read a lot of Sister Kathy’s poetry. Here is one of her recent posts. By the way, the artwork with the poetry is from her husband Paul who is an avid and awesome painter too! I hope you will be blessed and enjoy this jewel from Sister Kathy and her husband Paul Boecher.

As I usually ask, please stop by and let her know you appreciate her ministry (and Paul’s for that matter) for us as well as for the Lord. While you’re there, check out her other articles and Paul’s paintings. She is a very prolific writer and poet. Remember, these teachings and the poetry and Paul’s paintings, are a sacrifice of praise and worship to the Lord! Give her a like and some encouragement! Also, Kathy and Paul could both use our continued prayers. Thanks and God Bless!

Sunlight dances across brilliant blue skies,

Weaving a kaleidoscope of light and color,

Twisting and turning through boughs and leaves,

It balances just the right amount of a warm, comforting glow.

Each fragment of fractured light disperses into brilliance,

Tiny mirror like reflections float across the water,

Reflections of the blessings God sprinkles into our lives,

Capture those everyday things.

Cling to them with hugs of joy and thanksgiving,

Plant them firmly in your memory,

Never let them go,

They are God’s daily gifts to us.
