*Pastor’s Note: Are you a child of the King? Jesus IS the King of kings. This is a testimony wrapped up in rhyme from our dear Brother-in-Christ, Mike Armijo. This is from one of his older poems that I have been blessed to collect from his postings on Facebook. Please also check out his Book of Poetry, The Journey Home, A Collection of Poetry which you can find by clicking on the book title; I have it and it’s a great inspiration.
CHILD OF THE KING . . .
I’m wrapped up in HIS majesty, a child of the KING of KINGS; how joyously my heart sings.
In awe; amazed by HIS sweet grace, one day I’ll see HIM face to face and by HIS side I’ll take my place.
I’m wrapped up in HIS love for me; the one who holds my destiny, HE shed HIS blood to set me free.
I have a hope no one can take; and trust the ONE who took my place; HE fights for me, I’ve won the race.
I am a child of the KING, molded by the POTTER’S hand; I know the joy which HE can bring, and long to do as HE commands.
In me I pray HIS will is done, by faith I’m walking with GOD’S SON.
I am a child of the KING and know the joy salvation brings; HE hides me under the shadow of HIS wings.
