It’s Almost Time . . .
This world is getting darker as sin just has its way;
We see it by what people do, the views which they convey.
They see many ways to heaven, although GOD says there’s ONE,
It’s believing in the cross of Christ; the shed blood of HIS own SON.
It’s nearly time to go now, HE is coming back real soon;
it’s not so much the thing’s we say, but the love we do.
To love our GOD with all our hearts and love our fellow man;
The words we say and thing’s we do, should both go hand in hand.
To pray for the unlovable who hate the way we are;
To love the sinner and hate the sin; yes it can be very hard.
But the two must be separated, if this we do not do,
We make the final judgement and do not walk in the TRUTH.
Do we step up to feed the hungry? Do we cloth the one’s in need?
Do we visit those in prison as we set the captives free?
Is it our cross we carry as we follow HIS command?
Do we make disciples of the lost as we lend a helping hand?
To be the heart of Jesus to a world that soon will fade,
To truly love the one’s he love’s, at the end of every day.
To humbly wash the feet and choose to be servant of all;
To be HIS hands and feet and do, as HE commands and calls.
To preach the good news of HIS love and point them to the cross,
Of the ONE who came, to seek and save the lost.
Church, HE’S coming very soon, so keep your candles lit;
Let our lights shine within the dark and love in spite of it.
