A boy asked his Father one day, “Dad, what is the size of God, how big is He?”
The Father looked up and around the sky and spotted a plane flying way overhead. He asked his son, “What is the size of that plane you see? How big is it?”
The boy replied, “It’s very small, I can hardly see it. If it wasn’t for the trail it leaves behind I might not see it at all.”
Then the Father took his son to the nearby airport and as they approached from a safe advantage point, a passenger jet was just about to land. The Father looked at his son and asked him again, “Now what is the size of that plane you see? How big is it?”
The boy replied excitedly, “It’s huge dad, it’s so big!!”
Then the Father put his arm around his son and told him, “It’s the same with God. God’s size depends on how close or how far away from Him you are. The closer you are to Him, the Greater and Bigger He will be in your life.”
Just a little something to think about! How big is God to YOU?!
“By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.” – Psalm 33:6-9.
“He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.” – Psalm 147:4-5.
“He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, And has stretched out the heavens at His discretion. When He utters His voice, There is a multitude of waters in the heavens: “And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, He brings the wind out of His treasuries.” – Jeremiah 10:12-13.
“To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?” – Isaiah 40:18.
