Independence Day 2019

On this great day that we in the United States of America set aside to celebrate, let’s consider a couple of things:
With all the left-wing and progressive hate for this country and nation of ours it is important to remember the concept of independence. Politicians can legislate it away, corporations can punish consumers by withdrawing products or raising prices, “churches” can condemn the morality of honoring a nation on which it has based its foundation. Public school teachers at the behest of corrupt local governments can change history and spin a lie to cover up the truth of why people fled to the America’s in the first place and how they established a nation based upon Biblical religious principles, but they can NEVER take away a person’s independence!

They can try and punish you for it, try and ban it, try and make it socially unacceptable, but no man has the power to REMOVE your independence! The Apostle Paul wrote this in 2 Corinthians 3:17, “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” And the Beloved Apostle John shared this with posterity, John 14:16-17, “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever–the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” The awesome promise from the lips of Jesus Christ, Himself. So you see, as a child of God, as a follower of Christ Jesus, a Christian, we are promised liberty; and what Christ gives so freely, no man can take away!

This Independence Day, as you celebrate, think of what the Lord Jesus Christ imparted to the founding fathers of our nation, and remember that this great independence, this God-given liberty, is also ours individually in Christ Jesus!!

Amen . . . today I celebrate the liberty I have found in my Savior to which no man, no law, no government can ever take my salvation from me . . . and that is my true freedom! ~ Have a blessed day ~
