IN GOD’S PRESENCE

Life comes at us like a raging river at times,

Pushing, crashing, dispersing its power,

Seemingly overtaking us with its fury,

Yet even in those times of fear, loss, despair and anxiety,

God is there in the midst of it all,

His right hand directs life’s miseries and hopelessness,

And leads them to the final destination,

The peaceful waters,

The placid lake,

The amazing eternity He has arranged for us.
