Lord, hear our prayer:

Lord, we are amazed when we discover just how much you love us. We are thankful that you want to make our lives new. We thought you were just our Creator, but Jesus has taught us to call you our Father. We thought you were a long way off, but Jesus has shown us just how near to us you are. We thought you were just a word in the Bible, but Jesus has shown us that you share our daily lives. For this reason, we give you praise, thanks, and glory in Jesus’ name.

Amen.
