Lord, hear our prayer:

Abba, Father, heavenly Lord, we praise you for Jesus’ offer of life that is real, filled with his love and free from everything that would spoil our friendship with you. We praise you that through his life, death and resurrection you set us free from the things that make us afraid, worried and uncertain. We ask your forgiveness when we make life hard for other people and for those times when we want our own way. Forgive us and set us free and fill us with your love. In Christ Jesus’ name.

Amen.
