Lord, hear our prayer:

Father, we thank you for the way you have made us. We praise you that we can think and plan and choose and give. We thank you that we can help and care and share. We praise you for the gift of friends; for those who stand by us no matter what happens. We thank you for the happiness and joy, the laughter and fun, which our friends bring to our lives. You have shown us true friendship so abundantly and we thank and praise you in the name of our greatest friend, Jesus.

Amen.
