Lord, hear our prayer:

Heavenly Father, when our faith was slipping through our fingers, you brought us again to the foot of the cross. When all seemed lost, empty and pointless, the living Christ stood by us and walked with us. We thank you for the promise that the fight is worth the struggle and that you will keep us safe no matter the cost; that you surround us with all the spiritual armor that we need to overcome all the attempts of the devil to bring us to defeat. We thank you for your utter faithfulness and for the promise of your presence with us to the end, and beyond. We give you thanks, praise and glory in Christ Jesus’ name.

Amen.
