Lord, hear our prayer:

Father, we thank you for the miracle of life and for the joy of human friendship; for all those with whom we have shared the journey of life and those who have made it more meaningful. We thank you for all who through their scientific research have revealed even more of life’s wonder and the miracles of joy all around us; for those who have responded to your call to protect your creation; for those who have stood firm against all who would damage or spoil what you have made. We thank you for Christ, who came, lived, died and was raised that we might experience the miracle of beginning again. It’s in his precious name that we continue to give you thanks and praise!
