Standing In the Gap

THE world and professing Christendom are unaware that the only reason the hell of God’s judgment has not yet fallen upon the nations is that there is in this world today a company, a small, despised company of believers who like Abraham, walking in fellowship with the Lord, are holding back God’s awful judgment. This little company receives but scant notice in the world. It is mostly disregarded and receives little publicity in the newspapers. It is often considered extremist and fanatic because it preaches judgment and the imminent coming of the Lord to judge the world. This small company, however, still contains the most important people in all of the world’s affairs today.
