Lord, hear our prayer:

Holy and gracious Father, we praise you for Jesus Christ through whom we have become your children. It is Christ who taught us to call you our Father and to trust in your fatherly goodness. We praise you for his life, death and resurrection and that through him the way has been opened to the heaven of your love. We praise you for the gift of your Holy Spirit, who empowers us for worship and enables us to commit our lives to your service and to journey with you to the end, and beyond. We bring our praises in the name of Christ our Lord.

Amen.
