THE GREAT EXCHANGE
When I feel inadequate
Or in a fit of despair
Feeling tired of going on
And saying I don’t care
I just need to look to Him
And know He’s on my side
For He has made me worthy
To receive what He’ll provide
So I will open up my hands
And lift them to His throne
Pouring out my love to Him
And all the stuff I’ve owned
Giving Him my emptiness
And all my worthless pride
For I have been made worthy
And in Him I’ll abide
Exchanging all my bitterness
And all that holds me down
For love that only He can give
Will free me when I’m bound
