Lord, hear our prayer:

Holy and most glorious Lord, we praise you for the way you transform our defeats into victories, our brokenness into wholeness and our emptiness into a vehicle of your glory and service. We praise you for the proclamation of your love which we have heard and which we have been commissioned to declare. We ask that by your Spirit our lives and the life of your church might be shot through with the joy and hope of Christ, and that our praise will go on increasing until we meet you face to face and our joy is made complete in you. In all this we graciously thank you.

Amen.
