Reflecting With God 8/11/2022

reflecting with God header
Thinking, praying, reading, studying the Bible – when we do these things, we are reflecting on the Word of God. To reflect is to contemplate and/or consider, and God wants us to deeply reflect on His Word so that we can better understand Him.

All Scriptures Used are NKJV, New King James Version

For Thursday August 11, 2022:

“You shall have no other gods before Me.” – Exodus 20:3.

If you find yourself beginning to love any pleasure better than your prayers, any book better than the Bible, any house better than the House of God, any table better than the Lord’s table, any person better than Christ, or any indulgence better than the Pope of Heaven—take alarm.
