Prayer for Thursday 4-21-2022

Oh Almighty and most merciful God, receive our humble prayers. We recognize that we are weak; but You are strong and gracious. We have left undone these past days many things which we were tasked with and should have accomplished, and we have done things which we possible should not have done; but You, dear Lord are faithful and just to forgive the sins of those who confess them to You for Christ’s sake.

Oh show us the light of Your countenance, and we shall be made whole. Guard us through the upcoming nights. Bless our nation, our schools, our homes and our families and loved ones as well as our friends; and grant to us those things which we have faithfully asked according to Your will, and whatever else we need, for the glory and merits of Your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, our Heavenly Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with each of us for evermore.

Amen.
