Prayer for Wednesday 4-20-2022

Oh Almighty God, pardon, we beg of You, our sins and negligences during the past week. Help us in the future to struggle more successfully with the temptations by which we so easily seem to have been overcome by. Confirm and strengthen in us the good habits which You have enabled us to begin or carry out. Prosper the whole work of our lives to the increase of godliness and good learning within our communities and in our nation. Grant to us and bless us with the rest and ability to serve of You each and everyday day that You have given us as a Holy Day. Teach us to look on each week as a stage in our homeward journey towards Your glorious Kingdom; and ever draw us, Oh Lord, nearer to You in heart and soul, for Christ Jesus’ sake.

Amen.
