Paul always looked back with amazement when he recalled God’s grace to him, the chief of sinners, who so persecuted the Church. Our gratitude and love to God can sadly be limited by our failure to realize how sinful we really are and how much he has forgiven us.

Ephesians 1:7-8, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, . . .”
