Words of Wisdom

*Pastor’s Note: Here is another poem I have had for some time now and it came from the internet, Author Unknown. If anyone knows the author of this poem, let me know by email so I can give them the proper credit. Thank You and God Bless!

Don’t be so busy adding up your troubles
that you forget to count your blessings, doubled.

Greater than the best of intentions,
is the smallest deed done without limitations.

Love is a language so often profound,
It’s enough to break chains of those who are bound.

A house is made of wooden beams
but a home is made of love and dreams.

To be a good friend open your ears, eyes and heart
more often than your mouth, that other often used part.

People don’t care how much you know,
it’s that you care, that they want to know.

There is tremendous happiness in bringing others joy,
despite any other situations, we may employ.

Shared grief is half the sorrow,
but happiness when shared, is doubled.

All the things you have that money can’t buy,
are the real reasons for your richest blessings and why.

Today is a gift, that’s why it is called the present.

About Roland Ledoux

Ordained minister (thus a servant). Called to encourage and inspire one another by teaching His Word, and through intercessory prayer for others, praying for those in need as well as the lost. I and my wife of 50+ years live in Delta, Colorado where the Lord has chosen to plant us in a beautiful church home.
