There are trials and temptations
which we face on every hand
situations we must deal with
which we just don’t understand;

But there’s one who has the answers
and he knows just what to do
If we’ll put our trust in him,
He will help us make it through!

Through all of life’s frustrations
and the trials that we face;
He is there for us to reach out for
His mercy and His grace!

He is never in a hurry
as patiently He waits
for the prodigal to give it up
and run to His embrace!

He’ll clean out all the rubbish
and make our hearts brand new;
In tender loving mercy
with a love that’s tried and true;

He’ll guide us in His pathway
If to him we’ll hold onto
The doors will all start to open
as He gently leads us through!
