As sweet as those are, I would think it’s even sweeter to be adored by those who have everything they need in this life and aren’t under any pressure to pray, but just recognize that He is the source of everything good. Too often those people reject God and say, ” Na, I’m good,” and think they can make it without Him. (I want to say to them, “No, you’re not, and no, you can’t.”) … Just another perspective.. 😏

Yes, I agree. I think when we give Him freely our thanks and praise, it is as His Word says, and it’s a sweet-smelling sacrifice. I believe there’s a place for that fervent, passionate prayer and especially interceding for the lost, but I tend to agree with you more. A free-will offering must be the sweetest of all to our Heavenly Father!!
