*Pastor’s Note: I was looking through my WordPress Reader the other day and I spotted a prayer by Sister Hope at her website, Patiently Hopeful and as I read it, I knew it was something to pass on. The Word tells us to pray without ceasing and that is one reason I offer so many prayers on my site. But also, I have a burning hunger for the lost right now what is going on in the world. Right now, too many are looking for “signs and wonders” for proof of God’s existence, just like the religious leaders of Jesus’ day did. They NEED Jesus in their hearts, so please pray with Sister Hope and myself in agreement with this prayer. God moves mightily when His saints pray!
Also, please stop by her site and let her know you are praying for her ministry. You will be blessed as well!
1 Thessalonians 5:15b – 18, “Always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. Rejoice always, PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (NKJV) [Bold emphasis mine].
Thus says the Lord: “Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, For the Gentiles are dismayed at them.”
Jeremiah 10:2 NKJV
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for this warning. Lord, I can see how those without You run after things which do not profit, they struggle with the future for it is a frightening thing, they have no hope in You nor direction from Your Word. Lord Jesus, please help us to remember not to be frightened by the things which the lost are frightened by. Lord, help us to be wise and cling to Your truth, not mankind’s ways. Lord, teach us daily from Your Word, that we might honor You in all things. Please hold us in Your ways, guiding us by truth and Your Holy Spirit. Lord, I do not need to fear, for You have my soul safe in Your hands. Thank You for that security. Thank You for that comfort. Lord, for those who have yet to know You, I humbly request their hearts be softened, their eyes opened, their ears unplugged, that they may see You, hear You, and believe. Thank You, Jesus for all Your wonderous works. I praise Your holy name.
Amen.
Thank you for praying with me. God bless.
