Verse of the Week . . . 3/27/2022

*Pastor’s Note: The Holy Spirit, often times mentioned just in passing as a minute part of our walk with the Lord, right? How so very wrong. He IS the Spirit of the Father AND of Christ Jesus, promised by Jesus to come to us when He left this earth so that we would have a part of Him always with us. Abiding in Christ means having the Spirit within, the Spirit of Christ. Sister Dori tells it plain and simple. I’ve hung on to this link to her page for several weeks just waiting for the perfect time to share it. The time is now. Don’t belittle the tremendous gift that God, our Father has given us through Christ Jesus. His Spirit ALWAYS with us!

As always, please visit her site and wander around. She has a lot of inspiring and encouraging pages and they’re waiting to be gleaned from!

Celebrate His Love – With Dorik Drabek

The Holy Spirit is our Advocate. The Amplified Version goes on to also call Him our Helper, Comforter, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener and Standby. He is sent by the Father to remind us of what He has said, and what we have heard, read, learned and experienced. In this crazy world, it is far too easy to get off track and lose our focus. We need ‘The Great Reminder’ every day to renew our minds, refresh our memories and keep us going in the right direction. He is our GPS, our Compass, our Guide. One thing I have noticed about my GPS… It only takes me to the right place if I listen, and so it is with the Holy Spirit. 🤔💭👂🏼🕊❣️
