A Father’s Exhortation

wisdom header 1
There is a Proverb for EVERY day of the Month. Do you want wisdom. It is found here!
“Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding. For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold. Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. She offers you long life in her right hand, and riches and honor in her left. She will guide you down delightful paths; all her ways are satisfying. Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly.” – Proverbs 3:13-18.
Translation used for these daily Proverb Bible Verses will be:

    • I have two adult boys and I truly thank the Lord for HIS wisdom and understanding because by ourselves it could have been a mess for them. Both of them went into Law Enforcement though they both have “retired” from it. We have been blessed, brother Jim!

  2. This brings back memories of the season when I was having “wisdom searches” with my children for our morning devotions. We read a chapter of Proverbs every day (So, the whole book once a month.) I drew a picture illustrating one of the verses, and as I read the chapter the kids had to identify the verse that was illustrated. So they paid close attention to what was being said – at least until one of them cried, “That’s it!” 😉

Great words from God – applicable even more so today than when penned.
