They’ve Turned Their Backs On Me

Jeremiah has been called to warn the people of Israel. When you read Jeremiah, if you substitute the United States for Israel, you will realize that the Book of Jeremiah is not just historical, but extremely and divinely prophetic. Jeremiah, except for certain verses is rarely taught on today and yet, with the state of the United States as a Nation, we NEED, we MUST take the words of Jeremiah to heart!

Turning your back on someone is a matter of will, it is a choice. Turning our backs on God is no different and yet today, we live in a society that has done just that and more so is trying to wipe the mention, let alone the thought, of God Almighty from their consciousness as if that will cause Him to disappear. The ancient Israelites tried that, it didn’t work. God IS just, holy and pure and though He is very long suffering, He demands His creation to at least acknowledge Him. We are living in a time when the Church of Christ Jesus, the Bride are going to be witness to the glory, the power and the authority of our Heavenly Father upon the wicked, corrupt and blatantly evil.

Though it is human nature to want to take joy in this process, there should be no joy in what we witness, other than the fact that we DO serve a God who IS sovereign, does reign over all the earth and whose Word is unchanging!
