You Know What

This is a MUST-READ for every born-again Christian and American Patriot. If you don’t believe we are in the final stages Biblical Prophecy being fulfilled, then you haven’t been hitting your knees! This is becoming too important in the eternal scheme of things! Souls ARE at stake!

The Democrat Party has been on the wrong side of almost every issue as it relates to the Bible, ever since they booed at the mention of God at their 2012 Convention.  Now, they have made it official with a resolution to affiliate with atheists, or as they put it, “the irreligious.”

According to the Friendly Atheist, the Democratic National Committee passed the resolution over the weekend, which heralds the “value, ethical soundness, and importance” of non-religious Americans.

A .pdf file of the resolution is hosted at (not surprisingly) and can be read here.  It states…

WHEREAS, the religiously unaffiliated demographic has tripled in the last two decades, now representing 25% of the overall American population and 35% of those under the age of 30; and

WHEREAS, religiously unaffiliated (atheist) Americans overwhelmingly share the Democratic Party’s values, with 70% voting for Democrats in 2018, 80%…

Hi Roland, had to have a read after the outrage on display – despite not being a US citizen. What I found interesting is the explicit linkage between faith and politics demonstrated in this extract from the original pdf:

“WHEREAS, a record number of openly nonreligious candidates are running for public office;”

Am I missing something here? Or is the requirement for “openly religious candidates” a new political (sorry – God’s Kingdom) requirement I have missed all these years in the teachings of our Lord?

    • To be honest Brother Paul, and I am giving my opinion on this, politics is divisive rather than unifying. The person who goes into politics has to learn to compromise for the benefit of ALL the people they are “supposed” to serve and compromise is sadly a tool the enemy uses a lot.

But, the Bible is full of political references if you look at it. It was NEVER God’s plan for His people or children for He wanted to be their one and only ruler. But, being God and Omniscient, He also knows what the future holds and knows the direction man will take under the leadership of other men. That is why prophecy and the prophetic are so important in a Christian’s life, because God ALWAYS gives His children signposts if not outright warnings of what is to come.

As Christians, we have responsibilities to those governing us. Render unto Caesar and all that, PLUS pray for our leaders and the Bible is very clear about praying for ALL our leaders, not just the ones we agree with. God knew in His infinite wisdom that not everyone going into “public office” would be a follower of His, but by the same token, for His plan for the Kingdom to unfold, He is the one that ALLOWS individuals to rise in authority or not. Pharaoh during Moses’ time, the Bible says, was CREATED for that time and purpose. I believe, so it will be all the way through to the anti-christ until the second coming of Jesus.

It is ALL meant to allow His plan for man’s salvation to unfold. Within that plan, it is necessary and oh so wise, to allow man to continue to be able to CHOOSE what he will accept and what he will reject. Though our Heavenly Father desires that NONE should perish, He is well aware, due to man’s ability to choose to love or to be self-centered, some will choose the selfish route. But those who DO choose love, will love not out of coercion or obligation, but because of the desire to please the One they love.

Israel wanted to be like other nations and have a man lead them rather than God, alone. Thus history has never really changed. The U.S. is no different. We started out as you know wanting “religious” freedom, all a part of God’s plan, I am positive about. Our country was founded on Biblical principles by principled (if not Christian) men, but through time AND choice, though the Constitution remains, it’s intent has been questioned and even ridiculed for it’s Biblical foundation. All in the name of obsolescence due to “changing times.” God knew this would happen. It happens to ALL governments when God Almighty is not the Sovereign over the nation or kingdom.

If God Almighty sets up thrones and takes down leaders, then it is evidently within His plan, ULTIMATELY, for mankind’s salvation to place leaders in positions to lead us to the final WORLD outcome described in Revelation.

It is hard, at least for me, to see such decay, outright corruption and blatant “apparent” evil on display in our public figures and a great portion of our nation going along with it. BUT — there are too many Scriptural references about the narrow and the broad way to discount what is happening in front of our eyes. All over the world, your Country as well, we are seeing the Word of God, the Living Word, I might add, unfold right before our eyes.

So, to your question, Brother, it has NEVER been a pre-requisite to be “religious” to run for public office, though in a Christian’s heart, it is the desire. Yet in that desire, a true Christian would recognize, Christianity, the Lifestyle, I am speaking about, not the “religion,” that compromise is part of the “political” process though it was NEVER part of Jesus Christ’s teachings. Therein, for me, lies the quandary. As Christians, we are always being tempted in one way or another, but as a “Christian” politician, that very lifestyle has to be one of compromise to serve (if they truly do serve) ALL the masses and not just the ones they prefer.

It’s good to hear from you. I still go to Church Set Free and your site from time to time just to keep tabs. The World, my brother is getting smaller and I have friends and acquaintances in Australia, the Philippines, Canada, France, Great Britain, actually all over whom I connect with (at least on Facebook and WordPress) and we all for the most part have Christ Jesus as our common denominator. What’s happening in the U.S. is happening at some level in all these other countries as well. The governments might be different, but the Christian Lifestyle still has Christ Jesus as the Head! The Living Word of God, the Bible still seems to be the foundation leading others to a knowledge of the Father THROUGH Jesus Christ and empowered by His Holy Spirit. So politically, this Christian is waiting for the Kingdom of God where politics will have no bearing!

God bless you greatly Paul. You have never left my prayers, brother! Honestly.
